Whether you’re newly engaged (congrats by the way) or have been planning your day for a while now, there are two things that we think are really important to busy couples juggling the demands of work, family and weddings. Firstly, you want to work with suppliers you can trust to deliver for you on the big day. And secondly, and this one can get lost under the weight of magazines, to-do-lists and spreadsheets, we think planning your wedding should be a hugely enjoyable experience. So this is how we work with you to design and hand-craft your wedding flowers and visual styling.
We have an initial telephone conversation to capture the brief – your wedding essentials of date, venue, wedding party, dress shape and style. Our aim is to understand the overall look and feel you and your partner are hoping to achieve.
Fi, our florist, will prepare a set of creative boards for you both to ponder. The creative presentation will respond to your brief but also introduce some other ideas that perhaps you had not thought of. It will be supported by a dedicated secret Pinterest Board for your wedding which you can add to and make comments . If you like the proposal then a reservation fee secures the booking in our diary.
12 to 8 weeks ahead of your wedding, we meet at your home or venue for a detailed consultation to hone down flower choices, colour palette and practical details such as delivery addresses and contact names for the venues.
4 weeks to go and we order your flowers and any custom props or accessories you have decided upon. We also send you the final prices and invoice for payment less the reservation fee.
The day before your wedding (or the morning if the venue is in use) we deliver and install the floral designs. We also deliver the bouquets to your home and the buttonholes to the groom’s accommodation.
If we’ve created floral displays in the church and/or reception venue, we’ll come back and clear down the flowers, leaving everything spick and span. You just go off and enjoy that honeymoon!!
