As an interior decorator, Rachael had a clear vision for the look and feel of her wedding to Peter. They married in a tiny ancient church which we filled with seasonal flowers in a warm palette of peach, ivory, pink and lime green. The door to the church was flanked with milk churns filled with flowers whilst inside the church windows were decorated with flowing greenery and church candles lit to add to the atmosphere. Focal flowers included locally grown Dahlias including the spectacular ‘Cafe au Lait’, flowing burgundy Amaranthus, delicate Astrantia and Veronica and cheerful Germinis. The star of the show was the Rose ‘Vuvuzela’ with an orange centre and pink outer petals – not a colour combination that should work but it does! A more contemporary note was added with grey-green succulents. The overall look was opulent country chic.
